Brite: Ideal for general construction with a standard finish; not recommended for exposure to weather.

Electro Galvanized: Provides limited corrosion resistance with a thin zinc coating and a smooth surface; suitable for interior use and limited exterior exposure, such as roofing, where heavy weather exposure is not a concern.

Hot-Dip Galvanized: Provides enhanced corrosion resistance with a thick zinc coating; rough surface, perfect for exterior use.

Stainless Steel: The best option for use with treated lumber and cedar; highly recommended for exterior applications.
